Week 09

 PROJECT PROGRESS | 01-03 March 2021


This week, I would be creating five Usability Test Objective, User Acceptance Testing, and a Gantt chart. First of all, the usability test objective goals are to identify any usability problems, collecting qualitative and quantitative data to determine the participant's satisfaction with the product. (Affairs, 2021) I would need to develop a solid test plan, recruit participants, and analyze the data to be able to run an effective usability test. After that, I would also need to create a user acceptance testing question form to let the participant fill in to see if they have any problem in getting to the objective. 

Question example:
1. Understand how people navigate to and within the site
  -  How do the users arrive at the site?
  -  How do they look for information?
  -  How do they get started? Where do they start their search for information?

2. Understand whether users can successfully locate the information of colour blindness.
  -  Colour blindness information
  -  Colour blindness palette
  -  VR game page

3. Learn whether users can understand the information provided on the site?
  -  The different types of colour blindness information
  -  The different type of colour blindness palette
  -  The learning outcome of the VR game

The Gantt charts are useful to help me plan and scheduling projects. It helps me to assess how long a project should take, determine the resources needed, and plan the order in which I would be completing the tasks. It is also helpful for managing the dependencies between tasks.

After I have done the user acceptance test questions, I have created a questionnaire for the user to fill after they have complete the given objective to navigates through the website.

Week 14

  PROJECT PROGRESS   | 05-07 April 2021 This week, I would be continuing working on the VR Game and also sketches of the character storyboard. In the progress of building the food festival, I have noticed that the environment is a bit empty. Therefore, I have started placing tree from the free asset store. It is to make the environment closer to nature. The food festival will be held in a park where people from all around the world would enjoy a sunny day with a clean environment. Why is it a park? It is because the park has lots of tree and grass surrounding the environment and when in the colour blind world the colour of green and red would appear as yellow and blue. Week 16

   PROJECT PROGRESS   | 19-21 April 2021 This week, I will be working on the VR Game progress, high fidelity prototype 01, high fidelity prototype 02, character bubble speech and button design. I have researched the button design before started on designing the button. Moving on, I have also done some experimenting on the bubble speech to let the audience have the mood to play the game.
